1. Who we are

HODLQuest is operated by UDAO SkillsValley AG, Hinterbergstrasse 20, 6312 Steinhausen, Switzerland, registered under CHE‑173.017.126. You can reach us at info@skillsvalley.io. These terms govern your use of hodl.udao.org.

2. What HODLQuest is

HODLQuest is a quest platform on the Polygon blockchain. A quest creator funds a reward pool in an escrow contract before the quest opens. Participants complete tasks, such as social follows, quizzes, or holding a token. Verified completions are rewarded from the escrowed pool according to the quest's distribution rule.

3. Your wallet

You sign in with your blockchain wallet. You are responsible for your wallet, its keys, and every transaction you sign. We never ask for your keys and cannot recover them. You may use HODLQuest only if you are at least 18 years old and your use is lawful where you live.

4. Holds

Some quests ask you to hold tokens while the quest runs. Your hold sits in a vault created for your wallet, and only you control it. The platform can never move, spend, or keep your hold. You can take it back at any time. Taking it back before the reward lands takes you out of the running for that quest. Hold tokens are chosen by the quest creator, so check that you trust a token before you place a hold with it. A token contract can restrict its own transfers, and no vault can prevent that.

5. Rewards

Each quest states its distribution rule before you join. Equal quests pay everyone who finishes the same reward, up to the stated seats. First come, first served quests pay finishers in finish order, up to the stated seats. Top scorer quests select winners by a ranking. Finishing such a quest enters you. It does not guarantee a reward.

Rewards are payments from a creator's escrowed pool for verified task completion. They are not interest, not yield, and not a return on an investment. If a reward transfer to your wallet fails, the amount stays reserved for you in the escrow contract and you can withdraw it yourself at any time.

6. Verification and fair play

Task completion is verified on our servers, and entries that fail verification are not paid. We may reject entries that are fraudulent or automated. Attempts to cheat, including one person entering with many wallets, can lead to rejected entries or a closed account.

7. Fees

The platform fee is deducted from the creator's funded pool and shown before funding. Participants pay no platform fee. Blockchain network fees are yours whenever you sign a transaction.

8. Not a financial service

HODLQuest does not take custody of your tokens, does not offer accounts, savings, or investment products, and does not give investment advice. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy or hold any token.

9. Content

Quest content belongs to the creator who publishes it. The HODLQuest name, design, and artwork belong to us. You keep the rights to content you submit and allow us to display it on the platform.

10. Liability

HODLQuest is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect damage and lost profits, including losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets, or tokens we do not control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or intent.

11. Changes and termination

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced on the platform 30 days in advance, and using HODLQuest after that means you accept them. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using HODLQuest at any time, and your vault stays yours either way.

12. Law and jurisdiction

Swiss substantive law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence remain unaffected.
