Run a quest for your community
HODLQuest gives a project a way to run a campaign where the reward is visibly real. You fund the pool before the quest opens, so participants can see the money is already committed, and payouts run without you having to process them.
What you set up
A quest is a title, a description, a set of tasks, a schedule, and a reward. Tasks cover social actions, quizzes, link visits, and work a human reviews. Separately, a quest can require participants to hold a token for its duration — a condition on the quest rather than a task. You choose how many places there are and how the reward is split across them.
Not every task type is open to new quests. Create a Quest shows you the current set when you build one, and that list is the authoritative one.
How the money works
You transfer the full reward pool into the treasury contract when you create the quest. It stays there for the life of the quest. When the quest ends, the platform sends each selected participant their reward directly, and the platform fee comes out of that same pool. You set what each winner receives, so the pool covers those rewards plus the fee. Create a Quest shows you the rate and the total before you fund anything. You do not run the payouts and you cannot forget to.
What happens to rewards nobody wins
They stay yours. If a quest ends with places unfilled, you reclaim the remainder yourself once the waiting period after the quest ends has passed. The contract holds it until then and will not release it earlier, and it does not push it back to you either, so you make the call. The wait exists so payouts to genuine participants always settle first.
Distribution
You decide how the pool is divided. Everyone who finishes is paid the same reward, up to the number of places. Or top scorers, ranked by a Contribution score that comes from repeating the quest's tasks, with ties going to whoever finished first.
The last of those is a contest rather than a guarantee: finishing enters a participant, it does not pay them, and the quest page says so in those words before anyone joins. Its ranking is frozen when the quest settles and recorded, so a result cannot be reopened or re-run.
What your participants experience
Joining an ordinary quest costs your participants nothing and needs no wallet transaction, rewards arrive on their own with no claim step, and a hold sits in a vault its owner can release at any time, which ends their entry to that quest. The full walkthrough is here.
Getting started
Connect a wallet and open Create a Quest to build your first one. It walks through the basics, the tasks, the reward and the schedule, and shows you the cost as you go before you commit anything.
